![]() During hours of normal operation, the public is invited to visit us and use our facilities. In order to check out materials or use the computers, a patron must have a library card. The requirements to be met are as follows: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age. If the library user is under the age of 18 and wishes to receive a card, a parent or legal guardian must be present. The parent or legal guardian must agree to be held responsible for any late charges or fines that may be applied toward the account of the minor. The library user must be a resident of Hopkins or a surrounding county. The user must provide proof of identification ( a valid drivers license/picture I.D.) with a current address. If the address is not correct, eligibility will be determined by the staff. The library user must agree to accept responsibility for the following:
If your card has been lost or stolen, a replacement fee of $3.00 will be imposed in order to receive a new card. If at any time these policies are violated, Sulphur Springs Public Library has the right to suspend or revoke a user's card.
